In the mean time, read a little message from Chrishell, herself:
Well, I just want to welcome everyone to the site and tell you a little about myself. Basically I am a small town girl that just caught the break of a lifetime. Getting to this moment in my life is an absolute dream come true. I am often asked if I always wanted to act and the answer has an interesting story behind it.
I had a very definitive moment as a little girl that made me realize that I wanted to be an actress. I was reading the advertisements in the back of a magazine when I stumbled across an ad that was selling an acting kit for $4.95. Of course it claimed that the kit would give you everything you needed to be a famous actor. If they were trying to appeal to hopeful nine year-olds then they definitely succeeded. Our family was very poor, so $4.95 seemed like a small fortune at the time. For the next week I did everything I could to earn money or find it between cushions or left behind in coke machines and pay phones.
After a week of searching I was still short by more than half, but I was afraid that they would run out of kits and my dream of becoming an actor would be shattered. So I hurriedly stuffed my change into an envelope, along with a letter stating that the rest of the money would be sent to them shortly, found a stamp in my mom's purse and dropped it in the nearest mail drop box. Needless to say, I never received that acting kit, and to this day I wonder what happened to that envelope filled with nickels and dimes. But when it never came in the mail I vowed to myself that I would become an actress with or without an acting kit.
It all sounds so silly, but that single incident has influenced every decision I have made since that day, which ultimately has brought me here. Every day I feel like I am living a dream and I will never take this experience for granted. I have a true passion for what I do, and I am so grateful that I can share it with so many people. I hope you enjoy the site and the show!
