About Chrishell
Chrishell Stause was born in Draffenville, Kentucky on July 21, 1981. She graduated in 2003 at the Murray State University where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre and Broadcasting. She played such roles as Cecily in The Importance of Being Earnest, Shelby in Steel Magnolias, Mina in Dracula, Poopay in Communicating Doors, and Isabella in Androcles and the Lion.
Chrishell landed the role of Amanda Dillon on ABC’s popular daytime drama, All My Children, in April of 2005. She moved to New York City, leaving behind her parents and four sisters.
A big fan of music, Chrishell enjoys artists such as The Killers, Incubus, Muse, Interpol, Social D, and many others. She enjoys acting and of course, theatre. Her favorite play is Blood Brothers.
Also a big movie fan, Chrishell’s favorite movies include, Memento, Life Is Beautiful, Saw, Silence of the Lambs, The Jacket, and many others. Her favorite television shows are Oprah, Court TV, MTV, Desperate Housewives, and American Idol.
A big fan of reading, Chrishell’s favorite authors include John Grisham, Nick Hornby, and William Faulkner. Her favorite books by John Grisham are, The Testament, The Client, and The Chamber.
Chrishell’s influences include Oprah Winfrey and Chrishell’s older sister. Along with Oprah, Chrishell wishes to meet the legendary Elvis Presley.
